Did the 5-Day Detox Work?

Did you read my post from last week about the 5-Day Detox plan from Tone It Up?  If not, check it out so you can get in the loop with this update of mine.  If you read it then maybe you’re wondering if it actually worked or not for me before you decide to try it for yourself.  Well if that’s the case, you’re in luck – because here’s my little progress report.

I’ll be honest with you that I didn’t follow the plan 100% to the letter with everything.  But really who actually does, right?  Anyways I’ll let you in on some good news.  It totally works.  I didn’t take body measurements before starting but I did track my weight.  And surprise, surprise… I was shocked to find out that I lost 2.4 pounds!!!!  So yeah, I’d call that a success.  I would definitely do it again.  Maybe every other month or so just for a little reset.  I mean it’s only five days.  Maybe I’ll do it again after these next few big eating holidays go by.

I can’t wait to share with you a couple of my favorite recipes from the 5-Day Detox plan.  So look forward to seeing those here soon.
